Hidden Wisdom – The Inside Track

How would you like to have a distinct advantage in life? Like the shorter, inside track in a horse race… One that makes your path to success more achievable – without sacrificing your relationship with God or your family. Did you know that God actually makes that available to us? If that interests you, I’ve got some great news…

Horse Race.

In 1 Corinthians 2:9, Paul was referencing Isaiah when he wrote, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” Paul then goes on to say, “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.”

Catch this… God has wonderful things prepared for us (including good works for us to walk in) that we have not even imagined, and He is ready to reveal them to us through His Spirit. This is critical to understand because even though the Scriptures are full of wisdom, the natural man can NOT discern it. This is not my opinion. It is Paul’s statement on reality.

God hides the deep things in a place only accessible by His Spirit.

You can read the Bible until you fall over from exhaustion and still miss the deep things of God. People have been trying to codify the wisdom of God so they can access it without actually accessing Him. I’ve been guilty of this myself, albeit not with that intention. But for years, I searched the Scripture looking for “the how” while never seeking “the Who”.

The access that God offers requires relationship and that requires time and waiting on Him, quieting our soul and shutting down distractions. When you find Him, you find everything else you need, because He is all wisdom, all power, all love. It is walking in true relationship with Him that keeps us from many hurtful things. This price seems too high for most folks so they look for shortcuts.

Maybe they go to Tony Robbins for wisdom. Seriously?!?! Look. Just because something has a pay-off doesn’t mean it’s Godly wisdom. Paul explains there are two kinds of wisdom (as does James). He refers to the wisdom of this age, which is not really wisdom at all. We have that today – in spades! We as a generation, think we are so wise, so smart, so sophisticated but in reality are so darkened by counsel that comes to nothing. (1 Cor 2:6)

Grilled porkThe counter argument is that it works because it produces wealth and fame, etc. I’ve heard it said that all truth is God’s truth so all we need to do is eat the meat and spit out the bones. Really?!?!? What people don’t realize is that the meat being prepared for them is spiked with arsenic, which is both odorless and tasteless. And people, including many Christians, gorge themselves on this meat. After all, it tastes great!

In the natural, arsenic affects the brain, causes confusion, sickness and ultimately lapsing into a coma and death. Amazing how that illustrates what happens with spiritual arsenic. People feed on the poisoned meat because they cannot discern with their natural senses, the danger.

As they feed on what seems like good information, they become spiritually lethargic and their focus becomes the pursuit of riches or fame or both. The divergence of heart loyalty causes confusion and they become spiritually weak until falling into a spiritual coma, no longer alive unto God. Tell me dear one, is that worth it?

Accessing the hidden wisdom…

Hand with keyBut then there is what James describes as wisdom from above and Paul calls it the hidden wisdom. Hidden! Wisdom! But where is it and how do we access it? Well certainly the Scriptures contain great wisdom, but to get the benefit and understanding of the Scriptures, the truths they contain must be spiritually discerned and that only comes by the Spirit.

Paul continues, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” How much of what God has freely given to you, do you know, understand and walk in?

These are what I call “Level Two” truths. They are found in the Inner Court. They only come in the context and atmosphere of the Holy Spirit. God desires relationship. He is not interested in turning us all into rich, spoiled kids. That’s what the devil does and what the devil will offer you, in exchange for your soul.

Full length of young businessman jumping in joy above cityTaking the devil’s deal is like accepting an offer from him to jump out of a plane without a parachute so you can experience the ride of your life. Total exhilaration on the way down. But it ends badly. Always has. Always will. Amazing how many suckers take him up on that offer.

But we are called to and offered so much more. And it’s all in the context of relationship with Him, where we commune with God’s Spirit. We hear Him speak. We, as Jesus said, “know His voice and the voice of a stranger we will not follow”.

My goal in helping you via this blog and the MPI Business Institute is simple. I want to help marketplace warriors, sons and daughters of the kingdom, to not only learn the deep things, the hidden wisdom of God by sharing what I have learned and continue to learn, but more importantly, to teach and encourage you to access the throne of grace, the presence of God, the communion of the Holy Spirit, wherein is found all the wisdom you will ever need to succeed in any endeavor God has prepared for you to walk in.

I will walk with you and share what I have learned from years of pursuing Him and marinating my mind and uniting my heart with His wisdom, His ways and His will. I hope you will join me on the journey.

RaincatcherIn the meantime, if you desire to learn how to enter into the second and third level of relationship with God as modeled by the Tabernacle of Moses, I urge you to not miss what might be the most important teaching I have ever done on this subject.

It’s deep, powerful and life changing. It will get you on the inside track where the meat is well prepared and guaranteed to be arsenic free! If you really want this and truly cannot afford it, email me, and I will make a way for you.

  • This post is just answer for prayer for me.

This morning, in my devotional time with God, I asked Him for 3 revelations of His wisdom through the Scriptures.
And I remembered your teaching long time ago on the 7 pillars of wisdom (from James’ book)
and now, here I get this email about the hidden wisdom of God

Do you have any ebook about the tabernacle of Moses and the hidden wisdom of God?

I am looking forward to the MPI and do hope I can afford it!

    God bless you

  • Thank you Aneika and Brenda for your supportive comments and for sharing the blogs with others.

    Blessings!

  • Great word Michael! This could have been part of the response to 100-fold return. I’m very interested to learn more about Level On a & Two.

    • Hi Steve;

Thanks for posting. Keep reading my friend. God has given me a lot to share.

      Blessings,

      Michael

  • I am so glad to be receiving your teachings again. This one is quite powerful. I did hear Tony Robbins at a business event once and the Spirit in me cautioned me to check him out. When I read about people injuring themselves while walking on coals at one of his events I could not believe it. My intent is not to bash this man, just to warn people to listen to the Spirit in them to lead them away from harmful teaching. I look forward to learning more about the Institute. Just started a small business last January and have a lot to learn. Thank you, Michael for your obedience to all things God.

    • Greetings Eileen;

Thank you for posting. It is not my intent to bash a man either. Just want folks to do what you did and listen to the Spirit. Be discerning. Be wise.

      Bless you,

      Michael

  • Your years of following hard after God and saturating yourself in His Word are evident in what you write. Like the disciples, I can read your words and note that you have been with Jesus. I am really looking forward to gleaning more. Your teaching on 7 Ancients Paths to Wealth, Wisdom, and the Wonder of God looks fantastic!

    • Thank you Charlene and also TEAM SOUTHERLAND for continuing to participate and offering your feedback. It is MUCH appreciated. Hope you guys will be able to join the Business Institute when it launches in July.

      Blessings,

      Michael
