Confidence is a non-negotiable necessity! A lot of folks hesitate to be confident because they don’t want to be prideful or strong in their own flesh so to speak. But confidence is key for success and without it, you most likely won’t go far in life.
That isn’t to say you should be proud or strong in the flesh, but you should cultivate confidence. The Bible says, “The wicked flee when no man pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” In Acts we read of the boldness of Peter and John and the confidence of Paul.
It’s more about where your confidence is placed. The writer of Hebrews says, “So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Confidence is critical for success in ministry and business.
What I want to draw your attention to today is the financial impact of confidence. Those that lack confidence will never flourish in sales. That will cost them tens of thousands of dollars per year in lost income. Those that lack confidence will never launch out into business on their own, yet that is how most millionaires were made.

Confidence largely comes from doing. Doing comes from knowing. What you know affects what you do. What you do creates the course of your life. And that affects your income in a huge way! Jesus didn’t just teach the disciples. He sent them out to do the things He taught them. There’s a level of confidence that comes from doing that you cannot get any other way.
Some folks are very confident in their ability to play tennis or analyze the news, but lack confidence when it comes to sales or running their business. I know accountants who are extremely talented and knowledgeable in their specialty but lack confidence when it comes to representing themselves in the market. That is very costly but correctable.
